昨日はプリントハウスOMに行ってきた。
新横浜にある版画工房である。
大変に大きいもので、驚いた。
たいしたものである。

この工房の会場で美術展が開かれていて、
彦坂敏昭さんが出しているのである。

見に行って良かった。
新作の作品が１点良くて、
〈41流〉〈超1流〉〈超1流〉になっていたからである。

このブログでは書き損ねているが、
資生堂での個展のオープニングにも行っている。
そこでは久しぶりに林容子氏に会って、話している。

彦坂敏昭さんは２４歳だが、
資生堂、
そして東京都現代美術館のアニュアル展
さらにスペインのアルコというアートフェアー出品と、
順調にデビューを果たしてきている。
良かったと思う。

なかなか作家を見ていていても、
デビューをうまくできない。
デビューくらいできなくてどうするのかと思うのだが、
多くの若い作家は、自分のエゴイズムと保守性で、
自分の蛸壺から出ることができないで、
デビューを失敗してきている。
そういうのにいくつも見てきていただけに、
彦坂敏昭さんの最近の動きは、
気持ちの良い成功と言える。

Robert, they vary. It’s up to your authors. Many on the letters coming up are handwritten, or hand-notated, it’s about half and half. Though most of your first letters were typed. The fourth letter was a comic.
