中谷礼仁氏の歴史工学

中谷礼仁（なかたに・のりひと）氏から、コメントをいただいていて、
気がつくの遅れて、失礼していた。
お詫びすると共に、ここでご紹介する。
ご紹介したくなったのは、氏の歴史工学という学問の創造に感動し、
共感したからである。

先日は研究室にわざわざおいでいただきありがとうございました。
紹介もいただき光栄です。
当方の先行とする歴史工学について、少しご説明さし上げたく上記リンク（http://www.nakatani-seminar.org/rekikou/index.html）を紹介させていただく次第です。
歴史工学は、端的に言えば過去の事物と現在との関係、その調和的なありようを検討しようとする学問です。
従来の史学における文献研究では歯が立たないのであえて「工学」と名づけている次第です。建築の歴史を構造や強度で見る工学の視点からみることも当然含まれますが、その基本はぜひ上記リンクをご笑覧下さい。今後ともどうぞよろしくお願いします。

建築史という従来の方法を越えて、
世界を、建築の工学の歴史として見て、
現在が、過去の建築工学の重積の上にあるという視点は、
深く共感するものである。

私自身も同様の主張をしてきている。
それは過去の文化の沈殿の上に現在があるのであって、
その文化の外には出られないとする考え方である。

歴史的沈殿といった考え方というのは、
フーコーの地の考古学の影響があるし、
文化ー内ー存在といった視点は、
メルロポンティの影響も強くある。

さてそうした自分としては、
中谷礼仁氏の歴史工学に、いたく共感したし、
氏の語り口に、共感する。
学問というものが、私的体験の中で生まれ組み立てられていく様が、
率直に語られているからである。

そしてまた、今和次郎への参照の共感する。
私の学生時代、ちょうど今和次郎の全集が出たときで、
私も考現学という視点に大きく影響をうけている。
現在の私の視線も又。考現学の中にある。

3月15日の中谷礼仁氏のアートスタディーズでの講義を楽しみにしている。
