全人類美術館、あるいはアメリカ帝国美術館の夢想（加筆1）

先日の火曜日と、

昨日の火曜日、

アートバイゼロックスに行って、

全人類美術館、あるいはアメリカ帝国美術館の夢想という作品のために、

小学館版の１册２万円もする世界美術全集の２８巻を、全部チェックして、

《超１流》の作品を選び出した。

ブッシュが、ソヴィエトに勝った後の、アメリカ帝国を誇るために、

世界中から《超１流》の美術作品を強引にマンハッタンに集めて

巨大美術館建築したという、

過去型のSFの空想美術館作品プロジェクト

のためなのです。

それを高性能のカラーゼロックスで、厚紙にコピーしていったのだが、

独りではできないので、

山口麻衣さんに２日手伝ってもらった。

彼女は学芸員資格を取っている人で、

美術を見る目は良い人だ。

まあ、作業はきつかった。

それに《超１流》の美術／建築が出現するのが、

ヨーロッパの場合、ゴシック美術／建築まで待たないと、

出現してこない。

例外は、ロマネスク建築にひとつあって、

山口麻衣さんに見せると、凄いと驚いてくれて、

私もうれしかった。

しかし、何故にエジプト、ギリシア、ローマには

《超１流》美術・建築はなかったのか？

この疑問が私を苦しめて、

不安になった。

それとベラスケスのような画家の中の画家といわれる巨匠が、

《超１流》という視点に立つと、《１流》でしかなくて、

落とされる。

これもショックで、私の精神を不安にさせる。

しかし凄い作品と凄い美術家がたくさん採取できて、

本当に良い作品と良い作家が、人類の中には、

たくさんいたと言う、

その当たり前の事が、うれしい。

美術全集を見始めたのは小学生３年生からで、

そのころは、女性の裸を見ると言う、

そういうエロ写真的な面もありながら、

図書館で、美術全集を見ていた。

中学２年生で、講談社版世界美術全集と、

講談社版日本近代絵画全集を買っている。

それ以来、この還暦を過ぎてまで、

美術全集をめくることを続けているというのも、

なんとも感慨深いものがある。

こうした美術全集というのも、

現在の出版事情では、今後は出版できないだろう。

もはや書籍というもの自体が、伝統工芸のような古いものになって来ているのです。
